NOTE: At the time of Check-in, a voucher will be opened to the client with a value of $7,000 MXN charged to their credit card or $7,000 MXN in cash as a guarantee for any consumption within the hotel. In case of no consumption, the total amount will be refunded at the time of Check-out.

1.- Cancellations

As we are a boutique hotel with exclusive space, it is not possible to refund rooms once payment has been made. If you cannot attend your reservation, you have a period of 30 days before your reservation to change the date without additional charge. In case of changing the date of your reservation, the new date will be subject to availability and cannot be changed for a third time.

2.- Early Departure or No Show

If the guest wishes to check out before the date (early departure) or does not show up at the hotel on the day of their check-in (no show), the entire reservation will be canceled and no refund will be given.

3.- Reservation Modification

If the reservation has a “Non-refundable” policy, it cannot apply to date changes, and/or name changes. If the guest wishes to extend their reservation with the cancellation policy, the policies and restrictions of the original booking will also be extended.

4.- Access

At Hotel Grand María, we reserve the right of admission to any person who is considered a nuisance or threat to any of our guests or diners. If necessary, support from the corresponding authorities will be requested. Access to rooms is for the exclusive use of registered guests. Access for guest visits is limited to the common areas (Restaurant, restaurant terrace, and bar).

5.- Minors

We reserve the right of admission to minors under 13 years of age to the hotel facilities. We are a hotel aimed at an adult audience and do not have the staff or infrastructure suitable for children under the mentioned age.

6.- Pets

We are not a pet-friendly hotel. Under no circumstances can we admit pets within the facilities.

7.- Rates

Room rates in quotations to our clients are valid for 15 days from the time the quotation is sent. In case of no confirmation payment, the rate will be subject to availability and changes without prior notice.

8.- Check in

Check-in is at 3pm on the day of entry, in case of requiring early entry to your room, an additional fee will be charged for each hour in advance. Likewise, early check-in is subject to availability.

9.- Check out

Check-out is at 12pm on the day of departure, in case of requiring a late check-out, an additional fee will be charged and limited to 3 hours. If more hours are required for your check-out, an extra night will be charged and you can check out at 12:00hrs the following day.

10.- Invoicing

Your invoice request must be made within the month in which the payment is made, if requested outside the stipulated time, it cannot be issued.


In the case that the property is affected by a natural disaster, the following procedure will apply: During your stay, we offer a certificate for a return stay at the property for the number of unused nights and will be valid for travel within 1 calendar year of the originally reserved dates; it is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Space is subject to availability and blackout periods may apply. The policy will come into effect once the relevant authorities issue an alert in the area and this directly impacts the property. It does not include the day of departure, airfare, transfers, upgrades, and must be redeemed within one year. Other restrictions may apply. No shows – Penalty charges for no shows will also be waived up to 5 days after normal activities are reinstated at the Hotel. Early Departure – Guests who are at the property who wish to leave early can do so without incurring any penalty and will receive a certificate for the number of unused nights; valid for travel within 1 calendar year from the originally reserved dates. Rescheduling – If guests wish to postpone their vacation and travel at a later date, the original rate will be guaranteed for travel within 1 year after the original booking date. Guests wishing to use this option must reschedule their trip within 30 days after the natural disaster. Seasonal restrictions apply. The rate will be guaranteed for the number of nights and the number of guests originally booked. Additional nights or guests will be booked at the current rate at the time of booking. Name changes do not apply. This policy may be subject to change without prior notice. Under no circumstances will a refund be made once the reservation is confirmed.
